- I married my highschool sweetheart in 1995. He passed away recently. We have two sons and one daughter. We adopted our daughter from Guatemala. We are adjusting to our new normal. I love it. I like how he thinks...I know it's not exactly in the spirit of it all...but that would be me. Give up something you won't really miss. One of my clients used to give up beer...but only Monday through Wednesday. That always cracked me up too!
